1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the Site — for example by submitting false information, attempting to access systems or data without permission, sending spam or automated submissions, or interfering with the Site's operation.

2. Animal listings

We describe our animals as accurately as we can, but descriptions, ages, breeds, weights and temperaments are estimates and may change. Listings do not guarantee that an animal is still available.

3. Adoption and foster applications

• You must be at least 18 years old to submit an application.
• Information you provide must be true and complete.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or placement. PACOS decides all placements in the best interest of the animal.
• Approved adoptions are completed under a separate written adoption agreement.

4. Communications

When you submit a form and tick the consent box, you agree that we may email you about that request — a confirmation, replies and status updates. We send transactional emails only and you may opt out at any time. See our Email Policy and Privacy Policy.

5. Donations

Donations are processed by PayPal or Venmo under their own terms. Donations are governed by our Donation & Refund Policy.

6. Content and intellectual property

The Site's text, photos, logo and design are owned by or licensed to PACOS. You may share links to our pages and animal listings, but you may not copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without permission.

7. External links

The Site links to third-party websites, such as lost-and-found pet services, pet product retailers, PayPal, Venmo and social media. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products or policies.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PACOS is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing on the Site is veterinary or legal advice.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of King County, Washington.

10. Changes
